Responsible Gambling
RaceReady is built on the principle that disciplined punters bet less and bet better. Gambling should be entertainment, never a way to make money or escape problems.
Warning signs
- Spending more than you can afford to lose
- Chasing losses with bigger bets
- Hiding gambling activity from family or friends
- Borrowing money to bet
- Gambling affecting work, sleep or relationships

You must be 18+ to gamble in Australia. Set a budget. Stick to it. The best bet of the day is often the race you skip.
High-variance race types
Some races are structurally harder to model and carry higher variance — particularly those run on dirt, synthetic, Polytrack or Tapeta surfaces. Form often does not transfer between surfaces, pace bias can be extreme, and market liquidity is usually lower. If you bet these races, reduce stake size or skip entirely. See our guidance page for the full framework.
